The number of crimes committed by immigrants in 2026 was the lowest in recent years, as evidenced by the materials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, which TASS reviewed. Almost 21 thousand crimes were committed by foreign and stateless citizens. Moreover, in the corresponding period in 2025, 34.1 thousand offenses were recorded, in 2024 - 30.2 thousand, in 2023 - 31.2 thousand, in 2022 - 30.9 thousand.
