A man died after being attacked by a bear in the village of Orangoi, Porovsky District, Yamalo-Nents Autonomous Okrug. The predator was neutralized, an investigation was organized, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported. High bear activity is recorded in the district. Residents were urged to avoid entering the forest, picking mushrooms and berries, and if an animal or its tracks were found near their homes, to report to the police and emergency services.
