Following a cyber attack on the application of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a false message was sent to 33 regions of the Russian Federation, the ministry's press service reports. The Ministry of Emergency Situations identified a vulnerability in the application, which allowed it to be hacked. The agency takes steps to prevent repeated cyber attacks on its services.
