Fraudsters use a program with free drugs to defraud pensioners, according to materials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, which TASS reviewed. The scammer calls, introduces himself as a clinic worker, and announces the need to undergo fluorography. He also offers free medicines, for which he asks for your SNILS number or other personal data. After some time, another person calls the victim and, on behalf of law enforcement officers, reports that her personal data has been passed on to criminals. The elderly person is asked to withdraw all the money himself and transfer it to a supposedly authorized party.
