In the case of violations amounting to at least 110 million rubles during the rehabilitation and construction of the M-5 Ural highway, two employees of the Uralupravtodor branch and two former employees of the South Ural road department were arrested in Chelyabinsk. This is what the road industry in the region reported to TASs. Security officials believe that from 2018 to 2020, the detainees received jobs in the construction and rehabilitation of the highway worth 3.2 billion rubles. At the same time, they had violations and deviations from the project.
