There are no recorded cases of infection with the new version of the PJ.2.1 corona virus in the Russian Federation, Rospotrabendzor specialists continue operational monitoring of the epidemiological situation, the department reported.
Corona PJ.2.1 may theoretically have an increased ability to transmit infection, but a more severe course of the disease is not currently documented.
