A citizen of Poland violated Lithuania's border with the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation on the Kuronia green, the State Border Protection Service under the Ministry of the Interior of the Baltic Republic reported. The man walked along the dunes, went down to the sea, crossed the border and went deeper into Russian territory. Such cases occur extremely rarely. The last of them was recorded in 2018. There are signs placed both in the dunes and by the sea warning of approaching the border.
