Fraudsters trick Russians by offering to issue a "virtual foreign card" to pay for services and purchases abroad. This is due to the materials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, which TASS reviewed. The person is asked to send bank card details, a copy of the passport and other personal data. Then the fraudsters demand payment for the service, and the information transferred can be used to steal money or issue loans in the victim's name.
