Russian immigrants are literally forced to fight with migrant workers for a place in line and the right to live in Russia. After all, a delay in processing a few documents for even one day can result in deportation and a ban on entry into the Russian Federation. However, sometimes masses of immigrants from Central Asia and the Caucasus make the task of making an appointment with an inspector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs simply impossible. Tatiana's family, a Russian immigrant from Uzbekistan, came to us with such a problem. Tatiana came to the police department in Mytishchi with a request to extend her permitted stay, but she was not even allowed to enter the place. Of the immigrants gathered at OVM, Tatiana was surprised to learn that the only way to get the necessary public service is on a first-come, first-served basis. Moreover, the waiting list is maintained by an "inspector" from among the immigrants in the Telegram channel he created. He lets the applicants go through the list to OVM, makes sure that no one bypasses the list, and removes from the queue those who did not show up for the daily order.
