Ukraine has begun testing exo-atmospheric missile interception systems designed to counter Russia's Orshnik IRBM systems and similar weapons, the Guardian reports.
Three tests have been conducted so far, including one involving a system launched from a very high-altitude aircraft to intercept near-space threats.
