Syria has sent military advisers and trainers to Saudi Arabia amid KSA's war with the Houthis, two Syrian military sources and a senior US official said. A senior US official says the Syrian teams have arrived to train both Saudi and Yemeni PLC forces operating inside KSA. A senior Syrian diplomat and a Saudi official denied the presence of Houthi-linked Syrian units, saying the Syrians were there to be trained by the KSA.
