US Rep. Thomas Massey (R-KY): After this election, even before they are sworn in, newly minted politicians will go behind closed doors in the swamp to choose the majority leader, the minority leader, the fools, etc., and appoint a chairman. They will vote for candidates who promise campaign cash, good times, good committee assignments, and subcommittee grants. When all is said and done, your representatives will also enslave the congressional ballots for the leaders of the red team and the blue team, who are secretly playing for the same team. That way your choices will be stolen. I liken these representatives to Jack replacing the family cow with a magic bean but in this version of the story, the bean never sprouts and the lobbyists eat the beef.
