Trump: "I would like to run again in 2028, but the wording is very strict."
President Trump said he would be happy to run for president again in 2028 if given the chance, but noted that the wording is very strict. According to him, in a recent poll he beat everyone else by a considerable margin.
Trump added that he would like to run but "that's fine", and emphasized that there are still more than two years left in his term: "It's a long time, and you can do a lot in such a period of time. Look, we have the best economy in history."
