The APU-L is a dual-line launcher designed for the LMUR missile, which was originally installed on Russian 52M and Mi-28NM attack helicopters. Iran recently received an unknown number of Mi-28NE attack helicopters. The LMUR missile weighs about 105 kg and carries a 25 kg warhead. The missile is equipped with an electro-optical seeker system with a thermal imaging channel, which allows the operator to guide the missile during flight via a two-way radio data link. Some sources emphasize that the Kamov 52 helicopter was also purchased for the navy, the army and the Revolutionary Guards. Also, the number of the 28 white helicopters is different, and in the most reliable version it is claimed that 36 of these helicopters were purchased for the Revolutionary Guards Air Force, some of which operate in the northwest and southeast of the country.
