The shelling continues almost every day, and the work to restore the energy goes on around the clock. Thanks to all the repair teams, to every energy company, specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and to all the services involved and really working effectively for people and supplying cities and communities. Unfortunately, due to repeated attacks and constant air raids, repairs take much longer. But reserves of the necessary equipment are created, and recovery should be after each blow. We work with partners to quickly replenish our reserves. There are already agreements on new packages of energy support. The situation in Kyiv is particularly difficult at the moment: people and businesses are experiencing power and water outages for many hours. It is not easy in Kyiv Oblast, Zhytomyr Oblast, Chernihiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast, Poltava Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast, Cherkasy Oblast, Vinnytsia Oblast and also in Donetsk Oblast, where there are extraordinary challenges due to hostilities. There are queues and emergency shutdowns in the southern regions. However, as difficult as it may be, the state structures, regional and local authorities, every company that provides people with electricity, heat and water should work as quickly and fully as possible throughout the country, regardless of the form of ownership of such companies. I instructed the government and law enforcement officers to present by the end of the day an appropriate list of measures that will ensure full cooperation with those companies that are behind in repairs and rehabilitation. There was also a separate report of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the organization of the work of the ERB. The necessary steps have been determined.
