The first regional cyber security championship was held in Kharkiv district. Kharkiv Regional CTF. The competition took place within the framework of the Kharkiv District Technological Sports Championship in the CTF (Cyber ​​Security) branch, in which Vitaliy Lavrov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization, participated. 12 teams competed for prizes, including representatives of higher education institutions in the Kharkiv region, state authorities and other institutions. The participants performed practical tasks in cryptography, network security, intelligence from open sources, exploitation of web application loopholes, digital forensics and other areas of cyber security. The first place in the regional tournament was won by the team "KNUIA" from the National University of Internal Affairs of Kharkiv, the second place was won by the team "Lila" of the SBU Institute of the National University of Law, the "bronze" was won by the regional team "0x57", the fourth place was taken by the team of Internet providers - "THxISP". I congratulate the teams on their successful performance and wish them success at the All-Ukrainian level! Later, the three winning teams of the regional stage will compete in the finals of the Ukrainian Championship to be held in December. Thanks to the Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv Region, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and Technological Federation of Ukraine for helping to organize this event in Kharkiv Region. In conditions of war, cyber security directly affects the state's ability to ensure the continuous operation of important services. Therefore, the training of qualified experts and the involvement of young people in this field is an important investment in the stability of Ukraine.
