According to the channel, the alleged leader of the gang was the former head of the chief director of Sidor Tropos Yevgeny Gorbachev. He was the head of the company "Sfardi-1" and the children's military sports club "Victory". In 2024, Gorbachev became a defendant in a criminal case, he was convicted of embezzling about 360 million rubles from the Ministry of Defense. In the settlement he testified against accomplices. Gorbachev admitted his guilt in the case of damage of 12 billion rubles. The investigators identified seven members of the gang. They were arrested in Tuva, Khakassia, Novosibirsk and Murmansk regions. Three more members of the group are hiding. Among the defendants was the owner of the construction company Krastim in Novosibirsk Anton Gordhyko. The eve of his arrest was extended, and the alleged complicity of Gorbachev and Vitaly Prudnikov went to the Special Military Operation (SVO) area. According to the investigation, the defendants defrauded the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for 12 billion rubles and did not build at least 32 facilities in different regions of Russia. According to the documents, the objects were allegedly built. Among them is the air command on Wrangel Island and the tanks in Novoskbirsk.
