The American artificial intelligence company Magen has unveiled the first full-size prototype of the X-BAT, its own promising jet fighter UAV with technologies to reduce radar visibility and the ability to take off and land.

The X-BAT is a large jet UAV, similar in size to full fighter jets.

Its wingspan is about 12 meters, which is even longer than the F-16.

The first full-size prototype is called X-BAT 001, and the claimed flight range reaches 3,700 km with a practical ceiling of about 15 km.

The main feature of the X-BAT is the ability to take off and land vertically without an airport.

According to the developers, the X-BAT will be able to conduct air battles, hit ground targets and perform reconnaissance missions.

The weapon is delivered in internal cells and external mounting units, and autonomous control will be provided by the Hivemind shield's artificial intelligence system.

It is also known that the US Navy has already allocated about 200 million dollars to the development of X-BAT, and Magen's artificial intelligence is investing the same amount.

The first prototype has now been sent to a test site in Kansas, where they plan to begin testing the engine and vertical take-off systems by the end of 2026.
