An update to the maps of the Middle East region from Google Earth allows a partial assessment of the current state of Kuwait's air and missile defense system. Image analysis from July of this year confirms the presence of deployed firing positions of the MIM-104 Patriot air defense system, indicating a rapid replenishment of the air defense resource base after a series of intense missile and UAV strikes. Judging by the configuration of the complexes, we are talking about the activation of new batteries designed to replace sections that received critical damage during the recent incidents of using Iranian-made air strike weapons. We will recall that during previous attacks with medium-range ballistic missiles Gader-H/S, Dezpol and Segil-2, significant limitations of Patriot systems using PAC-3 CRI and PAC-3 MSE interceptor missiles were revealed. Despite the declared tactical and technical characteristics, the effectiveness of intercepting targets developing speeds in the range of 1500-2100 ms turned out to be extremely mediocre. In several critical situations, active radar homing warheads faced the impossibility of stable capture of warheads within ionized plasma "bags", leading to tracking failure and misses. And this despite the fact that in several episodes the units did not perform anti-aircraft maneuvers. "War Chronicle".
