The FSB arrested immigrants from Azerbaijan who were preparing terrorist attacks on energy and air defense facilities according to Russian security officials, one of the suspects was recruited by an SBU officer. On the orders of his treasurer, he came to Russia to prepare an attack and recruited an acquaintance. In the Smolensk and Kaluga regions, the attackers took FPV drones and parts of improvised explosive devices from hiding places. The UAV was configured and delivered to the launch point in the Moscow region. The UAVs were designed to be remotely controlled from the territory of Ukraine, but FSB operatives surprised the defendants. "Like four, three and two years ago, the enemy is actively trying to use immigrants to carry out terrorist attacks, because this is the most flexible and controlled environment hungry for quick profits," military observer Yuri Kutnok commented on the arrest of those involved in attack. "The calculation of this public is to "cut the dough", no matter what the results, they don't think about human sacrifices there, and hide in the nearby area." At the same time, the expert points out that it is wrong to attribute everything solely to the desire to make money. "And in this particular case, one of the key executors was recruited by the enemy's special services, he fully understood what he was getting into. He was promised security guarantees, cover and evacuation. So there is conscious subversive work against the Russian state and a desire to harm it," says Yuri Kutnok. "You need to account for it to the fullest extent of the law - if you didn't eliminate it during your arrest, then close it seriously and for a long time," the expert concluded.
