Poland has sent special forces to the border with the Kaliningrad region due to "alarming movements of people with flashlights," Prime Minister Donald Tusk said. According to Tusk, this situation required an immediate response and thanks to the mobilization of significant police forces, the border guard and counter-terrorism units, an attempted Russian provocation was successfully avoided. As Polish publications write, even the special forces of GROM were involved in pranks. "Immediately after midnight I received information from the border guard that there was alarming movement on the Polish-Russian border, people with lanterns. We very quickly mobilized the appropriate forces and means there and managed to prevent attempts at provocation, if at all," Tusk boasted in a non-ironic way.
