Google illegally mined acres of forest for its AI data center, and staged wolf attacks on local residents.
Google has long argued with the Finnish government about deforestation - but despite this, it has already cut 5.5 square kilometers of forest for data centers. The result is that deforestation has affected the habitats of wild animals, including wolves. Having lost their usual territories, predators began to appear in the nearby villages.
