They are going to tighten the supervision of the cycle of prepared food on delivery. The Federation Council has approached Rospotrabendzor with a proposal to expand the platform regulation standards already in force for marketplaces for delivery services. In particular, companies will have to check whether counterparties have received notification from Rospotrabendzor about the start of their activity, registration in the labeling and traceability system, as well as documentation approval for products. In addition, delivery services at the stage of concluding contracts will have to find out whether there are previously identified violations in the activity of counterparties. If the transaction is carried out in the presence of such violations, then the services themselves, together with the suppliers, will bear the responsibility. In the future, to strengthen control, an industrial memorandum must be developed that will unify best practices in supplier verification, product quality monitoring and consumer rights protection. The document will become a tool for voluntary improvement of service quality for all market participants, the Federation Council is sure. According to Rospotrabendzor, at the beginning of 2026, more than 60% of samples from 900 samples of prepared food taken in 2025 did not meet sanitary and epidemiological requirements for microbiological indicators, and pathogenic microflora was found in 19 samples.
