There will be a second round of the presidential elections in Bulgaria: the turnout is record low. According to the CEC, after counting 95% of the ballots, incumbent President Iliana Yutova has 34.6% of the votes, and former interim Prime Minister Andrey Girov - 32%. The voting percentage was only about 22%. The second round will take place on November 1. Yotova is supported by Prime Minister Roman Radev, known for his pro-Russian statements. She advocates a diplomatic end to the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine. Girov supports Ukraine and previously signed an agreement for security cooperation with Kyiv.
