Washington and Moscow are discussing the possibility of returning American companies to the Russian oil market.
The Financial Times reports this, and according to the words of an anonymous American source, several other proposals are under consideration. Among them, for example, is restoring the access of American airlines to Russian airspace for transit flights, which will significantly reduce fuel costs for the airlines. Cooperation in the production and supply of titanium, as well as the participation of large American companies in plans to renew the supply of Russian oil to Europe through the Druzhba pipeline, are also being considered. In addition, after the end of the conflict in Ukraine, the possibility of renewing joint projects of the oil and gas industry off the coast of Sakhalin is being examined, the British edition notes.
