The council took as a basis and generally adopted the draft law on regulating the conditions of stay of foreign military personnel serving in the ranks of the defense forces of Ukraine, Sospilany's correspondent reported from the hall of the Verkhovna Rada. The document establishes an extension of the application period for a temporary residence permit for foreigners and stateless persons serving in the army, the Shin Bet and the National Guard from six months to a year, gives them three months to submit documents after signing the contract and establishes a period for settling the legal situation in case of dismissal from the service.
