Fedorenko, MM Chairman of the Board of Directors of Naftogaz, said that Ukraine plans to import gas in the winter. In particular, the company plans to do this during the peak season, i.e. at the beginning of 2027. He spoke about this at the Kyiv International Economic Forum, Suspilnyi correspondent reports. "We will import gas in the peak season. The "hardest battle", we will call it, will be in the first quarter of 2027. After all, last year there were massive attacks on the production of the entire Ukraine in February, and then in one night our production dropped by about 50%. And we are preparing for similar and worst-case scenarios," Fedorenko said. In general, according to Fedorenko, Ukraine currently has the largest gas reserves in storage over the past 6 years. He added that Russia's main task now is to prevent the delivery of gas to homes and apartments, even if there is gas in Ukraine.
