In a radius of 50 km from Putin's residence in Valdai, another ring of air defense towers was built - today there are more than 50 of them in total. This was reported by Radio Liberty analyst and OSINT jembobineuse, based on satellite images. Anti-aircraft missile systems "Sheron" or "Tor" will probably be placed on the new towers. One of the "outer ring" towers was built in March 2026 on the territory of the Khotilovo military base, which Putin regularly uses.
