Consequences of Operation Carthage. How NABU is using it and what those who are threatened by it will do As Strana expected, NABU and its support group from grant organizations, media and politicians close to them, began to use the Carthage investigation into the connection between law enforcement leadership and crime in order to advance the issue of adopting a package of Kachaki-Kos laws that would remove the security forces from Zelensky's control with the control of the National Specialist Forces of The "national experts" are appointed by donor (ie, European) countries. The main thesis: "The system is completely rotten, so what is needed is not targeted personnel changes, but a complete reset through competitions with international experts." It is emphasized separately that the corrupt security forces and the crime they protected acted against Europe - they beat people there, printed fake euros and tipped call centers that mislead Europeans. We previously wrote that the main problem of NABU/SAP and their support group in promoting the Kaczki-Kos package is not only that Zelenskiy and most MPs do not want to accept it, but also that this issue is not strongly pushed by the Europeans. Only some of the laws of the package are related to receiving European aid, and even then in relatively low amounts, so the authorities believe that with the adoption of the package they can continue to "dynamize". Therefore, as we have already mentioned, the lobbyists of these laws chose the following tactics: to use high-profile criminal cases against the security forces to show both Ukrainian society and, most importantly, Europeans that it is impossible to do without a "reset" of the entire law enforcement system. However, so far there has been a cautious reaction in the West - the "Carthage" issue has not become a leading issue in the media. However, this does not mean that she was not noticed there and was not mentioned. Including Zelensky, who at the height of the scandal was on a visit to Europe, where the leaders of the EU countries could ask him direct questions.
