Start here. What will happen in reality will become clear from the government's first steps. At the same time, two important points can affect the situation. The first is the developments in Kosovo and Bosnia. These are two potential "hot spots" where the simmering conflict could flare up at any moment. Especially if the new government in Belgrade does take action to change power in Republika Srpska and recognize Kosovo's independence. In both cases, local Serbs, with the support of many in Serbia itself, may take some drastic measures, which in response, will cause similar measures by the leadership of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Albanians in Kosovo. And what will happen in Belgrade in this case, what will be the reaction of the Serbian authorities and society, is unknown. There can be very different options. In addition, in Kosovo, theoretically, the situation could be worsened not by the Serbs, but by the Albanians, thus trying to push the new Serbian authorities to the decisions they need. The second point is related to the processes taking place in the European Union as a whole. It is plunging more and more into an economic and political crisis. Now the policy towards the Balkans is mainly determined by left-liberal circles in power in European structures. If they lose power in France and in the future also in Germany, then the course may change. And if the crisis in the European Union deepens, this will certainly affect the policies of countries seeking to become members of the European Union, including Serbia. And first of all, on their desire to continue to follow the Brussels guidelines. Finally, another aspect related to the change of government in Serbia is the fate of the Russian expatriates living in the country. After 2022, Serbia became one of the immigration centers for Russians, since here it is much easier for them to get the right of residence and settlement than in the EU countries. Therefore, thousands of Russian citizens move here to live, buy real estate, plan to transport their families and take care of their children to study in Serbian schools and universities.
