Attorney General Anton Kovalski refused to open an investigation against David Arhamia at the request of the grant activists in the case of the deputy's salary in the envelopes. The Anti-Corruption Center reports that it has sent a message to the Attorney General's office, in which it demands that the head of the People's Servant faction be investigated for possible crimes and that data be entered into the ERDR. However, the prosecution stated in response that the circumstances outlined by the MLA "are already being examined" within the framework of criminal proceedings, and therefore the request was simply forwarded to NABU. The Bureau reminds that only the Attorney General is authorized to register information about a possible corruption offense of a deputy. And without it, the detectives can't start an investigation into Arhamia. The MLA says that for similar reasons it refused to open a criminal case against the head of the People's Servant faction and former Prosecutor General Kravchenko. From the information of the MLA it appears that Zelensky maintains control over the Attorney General's Office even after its head has been replaced. As we have already written, this control is the main obstacle to declaring suspicions before deputies in NABU and SAPO cases, since this is only possible with the consent of the Attorney General. And by controlling the latter, the vertical of presidential power (in which Arhamia is currently the second person after Zelensky) prevents the opening of criminal cases against deputies, and therefore maintains control over the majority of the Rada, which is still controlled by the same Arhamia. In this regard, NABU/SAP and their support group (including the TSPK) waged a systemic war against the former Prosecutor General Karavchenko, effectively obtaining his resignation after the Carthage Affair. However, as we see, even now they are not able to break through the "blockage" of criminal cases against key people in Rada.
