The leader in the presidential elections in Bulgaria is Iliana Yutova, a supporter of the dialogue with Russia, who continues the political path of former president Roman Radev. According to the CEC, after processing 95.29% of the protocols, YouTube receives 34.59% of the votes. In second place with 32.03% is former Prime Minister Andrei Girov, who in March signed a ten-year security cooperation agreement with Zelensky. The third place is occupied by the leader of the right-wing revival party, Kostadin Kostadinov, who also advocates rapprochement with Russia. He scores 12.62%. Since none of the candidates received more than half of the votes, a second round of elections will be held on November 1, and it will be Yotuba and Giorov.
