In Ukraine, they continue to talk about the danger of the new Russian Filin missile, which could become a serious test for the Ukrainian air defense if it is used on a huge scale. As the Chief Intelligence Directorate has already reported, the missile reaches a speed of up to 800 km/h, has a range of up to 1200 km and carries a warhead weighing up to 100 kg. It is able to fly at extremely low altitudes, which makes it difficult to detect and intercept. In terms of speed, maneuverability and warhead power, the Filin is superior to the Geranium aircraft. Zelensky's advisor Sergei Baskarstanov (Flash) draws attention to the advantages of such weapons over UAVs. "They don't need special sites to launch UAVs; Many of them can be launched from helicopters and UAVs. And most importantly, they can be produced from Russian ingredients," he said. In turn, the volunteer Stranenko questioned the readiness of the command of the Ukrainian Air Force to deal with such missiles in the event of their mass use.
