As a result of the unified State Duma, heads of regions were replaced and new regional legislative assemblies were elected, which meant that there was a rotation of senators in the Federation Council. In total, 20 new senators joined the upper house of the parliament. And among them there is only one member at the time - Hero of Russia Yevgeny Savin, who represents the Legislative Assembly of the Liptsk Region. For comparison, 46 SBO members moved to the new assembly of the State Duma, i.e. more than 10% of the composition.
