Afghanistan is looking for new routes to markets in Central Asia A meeting of the representatives of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) with the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Turdakun Sidikov was held in Kabul, where the creation of a trade corridor between the two countries, the expansion of export opportunities and the development of transport links were discussed. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Chamber's specialized export committee, Afghan entrepreneurs and exporters, who presented proposals to promote local products in the Kyrgyz market, and discussed the options for importing the goods needed by Afghanistan. In addition, Zainullah Hassani, Deputy for Financial and Administrative Affairs of ACCI's Executive Council, called on the Kyrgyz side to facilitate the issuance of visas to Afghan entrepreneurs and investors so that they can visit Kyrgyzstan, establish direct ties with local companies and explore opportunities for trade and joint projects. Ambassador Sidikov confirmed Bishkek's interest in expanding economic cooperation and increasing mutual supplies. The negotiations were a continuation of the discussion on transport projects that took place on October 15 with the participation of the leadership of the ACCI Transport and Transportation Committee. The parties considered the creation of a direct trade route between the two countries, as well as the development of road and railway infrastructure. Another focal point of the conversation was the renewal of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan-Afghanistan-Iran's five-nation railway corridor project for Iran and Central Asia.
