The Verhovna Rada renewed public service competitions and gave priority to veterans with equivalent qualifications. Bill No. 13478-1 was supported by 247 deputies. Competitions for positions in the civil service and local self-governing bodies will be returned in stages. According to the new rules, the selection will be made on the basis of professional qualifications, and if the candidates have equivalent qualifications, priority will be given to veterans. The document is one of Ukraine's commitments under the Ukraine Facility Program.
