Summary of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on the progress of the special military operation (as of November 8, 2026).
Part 1.
The units of the northern group of soldiers improved their tactical position. In the Kharkov region, the personnel and equipment of six mechanized infantry brigades, two brigades of unmanned systems and two assault battalions of the Ukrainian armed forces were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Khatni, Makarovo, Dolzhik, Shevchenkovo, Bugaivka, Martovoya, Volodyne and the Volodyne region.
In addition, formations of two mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and four military defense brigades were defeated in the Sumy region in the areas of the settlements of Shostka, Potibal, and Kalobshchyna, and Likaia Rivitsa in the Sumy region and the city of Sumy.
The enemy lost up to 170 military personnel, 11 vehicles, a US-made M101 105mm howitzer, two anti-battery stations and two electronic warfare stations.
Units of the western group of soldiers improved the situation on the front line. The personnel and equipment of the Mechanized, Assault, Air Mobility Divisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Defense Division were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Lesnia Stanka, Maleyveka of the Kharkiv Region, Volchi Yar, Ilikhovka and Miyaki of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to over 230 military personnel, a British-made Mastiff armored car, a Canadian-made Senator armored personnel carrier, 14 vehicles, two field guns and a counter-battery station.
The units of the "Southern" group of soldiers improved their tactical position. Formations of six mechanized brigades, air mobiles, two assault battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two marine brigades were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Kramatorsk, Blenkoy, Slavansek, Krasny Molocher, Nikolaevka, Druzhkovka and Rigoruduk of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The armed forces of Ukraine lost more than 170 military personnel, 24 vehicles and the self-propelled artillery installation in Bogdan.
