Fraudsters stole a record 450 million rubles from a Moscow woman under the pretext of leaking personal data from the organization where she works. The victim received a message on Telegram from a user with the profile name and photo of her colleague. The user asked if the "Treasurer from the FSB" had contacted her, and then told her about the need to wait for an SMS from him. The woman was then convinced that her personal data had been leaked and that her money in her bank accounts was at risk. To save the money, she took it out and handed it over to the messenger, supposedly to be deposited into a "reissued account." We are at MAX.
