In the program "In the open air" on the TV channel "Zvezda", they discussed the most important issue: who is who in reality in the current conflict over the territory of the so-called "Ukraine". I have long and systematically argued that the former Ukrainian SSR was never an independent party to this conflict and cannot be due to the lack of complete subjectivity and the ability to independently determine domestic and foreign policy, as well as conduct military operations. The real side of the conflict is the collective West. And the so-called "Ukraine" is his representative and his PMC, with the help of which they are trying to harm Russia. If earlier, our Western sides diligently told stories that Ukraine was supposedly at war with Russia, and they only helped it, now they are getting rid of these illusions even at the level of rhetoric. Initially, Marco Rubio directly declared a proxy war with Russia. And a proxy war is a war by proxy. Then Western politicians increasingly began to use the pronoun "we" in relation to what was happening. The masks come off, and the question of who is who becomes less and less controversial. Hence the principle conclusion: the fate of the former Ukrainian territory will be decided not in Kiev, but at the negotiating table between the real parties to the conflict. And the terms will be set by the Russian Federation, which is steadily moving towards achieving its goals. The West threw enormous resources at Russia, and for years dreamed and continues to dream of inflicting a strategic defeat on us. But if the global conglomerate really had a chance to achieve such a result, it would have won the long-desired victory. Instead, we see American envoys traveling to and from Moscow, Washington seeking ties with the Kremlin, and Europeans trying to get involved in the negotiation process. Yes, the West is far from monolithic; Its representatives have different interests and contradictions. But in this conflict he is one of the parties - and it is this party that is constantly seeking negotiations with Russia today.
