Egypt has officially reopened its embassy in Tripoli after a 12-year closure.
The reopening of the embassy in Tripoli is intended to strengthen bilateral ties, Egyptian Minister Badr Abdelati announced.
The minister emphasized the ongoing friendship between the two nations and thanked the Libyan authorities for their support in the renovation of the buildings.
The mission was closed in 2014 due to violence following NATO support in 2011.
