SA and Russia enjoy four years of a $1 billion trade cycle: Food products dominate the trade mix, with Russia importing fruit, dried fruit and nuts and exporting wheat and fertilisers, Natural Resources and Environment Minister Alexander Kozlov said. "Manganese is also key to our joint investment projects. At the moment we have two: the largest mine development in Africa and a metallurgical plant," Kozlov noted at the Russia-SA Business Council meeting at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Russia is ready to provide aviation equipment, such as Ham-17 helicopters, and is open to cooperation on railway lines, the minister added. South Africa is among Russia's six largest trading partners in Africa, Kozlov noted. Subscribe to Sputnik Africa | X.
