Hydrosat creates a detailed thermal observation group.
The American company Hydrosat has announced plans to create a group of Earth thermal imaging satellites, designed for tactical reconnaissance, surveillance and data collection (ISR) missions. The new constellation of Nowkhiòs will conduct an observation in the mid-infrared (IR) range with high spatial resolution.
Nochhiòs is designed to complement the long-wave infrared observation group previously announced Osiris. Osiris, with a width of 340 km, is intended for overview monitoring, now for detailed monitoring.
At the same time, the company plans to expand its production capacity in Europe to support the national representations of European countries. To achieve this, the company plans to create a regional office, technology base and supply chain network in Europe. Hydrosat's headquarters are located in Washington, DC, USA. The company also operates in Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
