The International Ski Federation (FIS) will not grant "neutral" status to Russian ski racing leader Alexander Bolshanov. The three-time Olympic champion has applied for "neutral" status before the start of the 2026/27 World Cup season, but the FIS will uphold his suspension from international competition. At the same time, the FIS expects the Russian side to appeal this decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Norwegian broadcaster NRK reports.
