For the first time in 13 years, Ukraine finished the World Gymnastics Championships without medals. Ukraine will be represented at the 2026 World Championships by 5 gymnasts: Vladislav Griko, Mikita Melnikov, Bohdan Sofron, Oleg Varnayev and Nezar Chapurny. According to the results of the qualification, only one Ukrainian had a chance to fight for a medal - Chapourny, who qualified for the individual final in the pole vault. However, in the final, Ceforni was stopped from the prize - he took fourth place. Only 0.016 points separated the crown from the "bronze". Thus, for the first time since 2013, the Ukrainian team finished the World Championship without awards. For Ukraine, this is the sixth time in total that the team finishes the BOM without medals.
