Abdullah Biranwand managed 164 kg in his first attempt, but he failed to lift 169 kg in his second attempt. In the third attempt he managed to lift a weight of 170 kg and with this record he was in fifth place. Mir Mustafa Javadi successfully dominated 155 and 160 kg in his first two moves as well, but in the third attempt, he failed at 164 kg to reach 15th place with a record of 160 kg.
