President of Argentina Javier Milei attacks socialism and Europe: 'I chose to align with the US and Israel'

President of Argentina Javier Milei referred to the global geopolitical situation and stated that there are currently three major blocs: the United States, Russia, and China, while Europe's status remains under a big question mark. Milei declared that, out of a deep identification with the values that led to the West's growth, he chose to align with the US and Israel, which, according to him, perfectly represent the great Western values.

In his remarks, Milei defended former US President Donald Trump and dismissed criticism against him: 'Those who say Trump undermines the West are completely wrong. His actions are exceptional, and he is one of the great figures in human history in terms of the number of conflicts and wars he has solved.' The Argentine president added that Trump is not appreciated in Europe, because it feels embarrassed by the truth about its decline.

Following that, Milei launched harsh criticism of Europe's condition, noting that the continent suffers from over-regulation, a terrible immigration problem, and severe unemployment. According to him, 'Woke culture (Wokeism) has created a disaster in Europe', and he warned that if its residents do not wake up to this reality, Europe will cease to represent what it used to be for the West.

The president also sharply attacked socialist ideology and illustrated this with nighttime satellite images from the Korean Peninsula: 'You can see a picture of Korea at night – North Korea is completely dark with no lights, while South Korea is fully illuminated everywhere. With this socialist totalitarianism, it's always the same; democratic socialists simply do things a little slower, and that's the only difference.'

Finally, Milei shared that he frequently quotes from the Torah, and in particular several names, which he defined as 'the most important story of liberation in humanity'. He compared Moses and Aaron who stood before Pharaoh – 'the parallel to the US, Russia, or China today' – and emphasized that the two ultimately succeeded in bringing liberation to their people.
