The storage provider Laholid said that its cloud infrastructure was destroyed. It is being "rebuilt": the first servers are scheduled to be connected within a day or two. It will not be possible to return all data. About half of users still have backup copies of their VPS servers in the cloud, but they still need to be processed. The cyber attack took place on the night of November 2. The attackers gained access to the provider's management infrastructure and launched malicious programs to delete data. The threat of repeated interference still remains, so experts check the system and eliminate possible vulnerabilities.
