An engine for the first Russian hydrogen train was created on the Don. Such trains will be able to travel along railway sections without electrification, which ensures complete environmental safety: the only "emission" from the facility is water vapor. The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Sliosar, announced this on social networks. - Ten prototypes of the 380 kW engine have already been produced. Eight of them were transferred to assemble the first "hydrogen" train. The preliminary tests were successful. After certification, the project will be able to start mass production," the governor wrote.
