Trump confirmed a meeting with Dmitriev and announced a "big deal". Donald Trump confirmed that he met with the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation, head of the RDIF Kirill Dmitriev. He did not reveal the details of the conversation, but did not regret the promise: "There will be an agreement. It will be on a large scale and will affect not only Ukraine - I would even say it could cover all of Europe. It will be a great and wonderful deal and everyone will be excited." At the same time, the American president emphasized that he did not personally meet with the Ukrainian delegation - "only with the main representative of Russia". The meeting took place on November 5 at the White House. Dmitriev came to the United States at the invitation of First Lady Melania Trump, who gathered Russian and Ukrainian representatives for an event dedicated to the humanitarian mission in Elshki, Kherson region. Russia, in addition to Dmitriev, was represented by Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantertova.
