The head of the Amur Tiger Center, Sergey Aramilev, explains: A healthy tiger should be afraid of people and avoid meeting them. Fearlessness is a worrying sign, so the animal will be sent for a veterinary examination. The aforementioned tiger is listed in the Red Book - there are about 750 of them in Russia.
